Path to Normalcy

In light of this year’s events with the global pandemic, we adapted our school health and safety protocols to create a balanced plan focused on the health and wellness of our school. Our aim was to create a Montessori-based framework that continued to serve our students and support parents as well as adapting our daily routine with the well-being of our students being paramount. It was important to us that the children's activity during this time was enjoyable, thoughtful, challenging and rewarding.

 As we explored the best COVID-19 safety and health protocols to reentry, The Montessori School at StarCreek chose to maintain smaller class sizes during the 2020-2021 school year to ensure safety even as the state of Texas gave schools the ability to resume full classroom sizes. At the current time, we are working in Phase II in our reopening process. 

 The Montessori School at StarCreek is committed to providing a safe, in-person enriching academic experience for our students that does not compromise the health and well-being of our students and staff. Our goal is to move towards Phase III for the 2021-22 school year once we know we can do so without jeopardizing the health and safety plans put into place.
